Interview with Shawn Torien - The Star of Lea Bronsen's Newest Release - My Biggest Fan

Hello All!
 
Today I’m totally rockin’ and very excited to be interviewing Shawn Torien.  He just happens to be the handsome bassist from the band Bloodless and star of the newest release from Lea Bronsen – My Biggest Fan. 

Donina:  Welcome Shawn.  Thank you for stopping by and agreeing to chat with me for a few moments.
 
Shawn:  That's cool, Donina. Thanks for having me. I always enjoy the company of a nice-lookin' chick. *Smirk*

 
Donina:  How did you get in the music business Shawn?  Was it always a dream of yours to be part of a Rock band?  
 
Shawn:  Yeah, I wanted to play music since I was a kid. Grew up with the New Wave of Heavy Metal, y' know. Metallica, Maiden, Crüe, AC/DC... all those amazing 80s bands. I jammed in my basement like most kids at the time, and one day I just dropped out of school, started my own band, and got lucky. Made it to the stars. 

 
Donina:  I'm a hair band junky myself. So, seriously, what’s  it like out on tour?  I’ve heard stories of some wild parties and a different girl every night.  Are all the rumors true? 
 
Shawn:   *Laughs* You could say that. It's been pretty crazy, with all the boozin' and the snorting. But that's rock 'n fuckin' roll, you know. As for the girls, you gotta blame it on them. They'd do anything to get a quick fuck with one of us guys - even blow the roadies to get a backstage pass, ha ha! 

 
Donina: Easy Shawn we're trying to keep a PG rating here. I’ve also heard that there’s a new lady in your life. Are you officially off the market because I’m sure there are a bunch of girls out there that hope you are still available. 
 
Shawn:  Heh, officially off the market. *Grins* Well, yeah, me and Sam are a team, now. Sorry to disappoint all you girls out there, but I honestly can't imagine being with someone else. It started out pretty weird cause she really wasn't my type, but now that she's under my skin... It's just her and me, which is a pretty nice concept.  

 
Donina:  A whole bunch of ladies just became extremely disappointed but, that's wonderful. How did you and Samantha meet?   Was it love at first sight?
 
Shawn:  No, like I said, she wasn't my kinda girl at all, just a nerdy webmistress who followed us on the road. But I got used to her hangin' around, and I started liking her wit and, I dunno, her kindness, her warmth. She understood the hell I was goin' through with Mom, too. In the end, the chemistry worked and I just had to have her. Now we're inseparable. She's my best friend, my partner.  

 
Donina:  Opposites attract, right? So, what’s on the horizon?  Any new ventures with Bloodless or perhaps wedding bells?   
 
Shawn:   No fucking idea. We've reached the top music-wise, so I guess what's left is playing bigger festivals in Europe, and maybe travelling to rising countries like India, China, and Brazil. They have gigantic crowds. Wedding bells? *Chuckles* I'd have to think about that. I'm still a rebel, ya know. Marrying sounds... uh... conventional. I'll always shy from the expected. Don't mean I don't love that girl, though. I'm CRAZY about her.
