Hello and welcome to my blog and site!
A few weeks ago, the amazing group over at Evernight Publishing accepted my submission of Arms of Serenity. It's my first attempt at writing a Romance novel and I can't describe the excitement -there was dancing involved- over it being published. I'm going to be an author! Woot!!
I'm a total newbie to all of this. Each step will be my "first" and I have to admit that I'm a bit overwhelmed and stressed over getting it from the manuscript to out in the world. The mere mention of editing has me shuttering and running for chocolate! But, I'm hoping to emerge on the other side of that process with only a few minor cuts and scrapes - fingers crossed!
So...I hope you hang in there and share the ride of my journey to becoming an Author. (I so love calling myself that!!) The plan is to post as updates come along. I will also try to share my thoughts on my joy and quite possibly anxiety as the big day gets closer. Just in case, keep the chocolate handy, ok?
